ABOUT

PARADISI are glimpses of time in which a vortex of violent emotions is released and turned into into fragments of beauty. They are temporary and absolute realms of beauty, essential for lonely heroes facing the end of everything.

PARADISI was born from the meeting of the choreographer Matteo Carvone with Emilie Ouedraogo alias Lady MadSkillz, exponent of the French Krump scene and interpreter of the project.

Contrary to expressive and highly energetic movements, Krumping is an Afro-Diasporic urban dance born in California in the late ‘90s: an alternative to gang violence and the necessary physical externalization of raw and powerful emotions.
